BOB PRIVACY POLICY
This policy explains how Bob, operated by Joseph Kevin Fredric (“Bob”, “we”, or “us”), handles information when you use the Bob iOS app. Contact us at kevinfredricjoseph@gmail.com.
Information we collect
- Account information: email address, authentication provider, account ID, and username.
- Focus activity: session subject, start and end times, duration, completion state, accumulated focus totals, coins, and career level.
- Club activity: club names and descriptions, membership, public focus totals, rankings, and live focus status while a session is active.
- Safety information: blocked-user records and reports, including target, reason, optional details, and time submitted.
- Technical information processed by Firebase, Google Sign-In, and Sign in with Apple as needed to provide authentication, security, networking, and database services.
How we use information
We use information to authenticate accounts, synchronize sessions, calculate progress, operate clubs and leaderboards, prevent abuse, respond to support requests, and keep Bob reliable and secure. We do not sell personal information, display advertising, or use your information for cross-app tracking.
Information visible to others
Authenticated users may see usernames, Bob career levels, public focus totals, club information, and rankings. Members of your current club may see your username, Bob character, focus totals, and live focus timer. Your email address, session subject, private session history, block list, and reports are not shown to other users.
Service providers
Bob uses Google Firebase for authentication and Cloud Firestore storage, Google Sign-In, and Sign in with Apple when you choose those options. These providers process information on our behalf under their own terms and privacy commitments.
Retention and deletion
Account and focus data are retained while your account exists. You can delete your account from Profile → Delete Account. This removes your Firebase Authentication account and Bob data associated with it. Limited abuse-prevention counters and an account-deletion timestamp may be retained under a pseudonymous account ID to prevent safety-limit evasion. Service-provider backups may persist temporarily according to provider retention schedules.

Security
We use authenticated access, restricted database rules, encrypted network connections, and platform security controls. No service can guarantee absolute security.
Children
Bob is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child supplied personal information without appropriate permission, contact us so we can review and remove it.
Changes
We may update this policy as Bob changes. The effective date above will be updated when material changes are published.
